We’re Lauren & Chris Rios—Texas born and raised.

We met in 2012 and a few years later set off on an adventure that deepened our love for craft coffee—the care, the connection, and the community it creates.

After returning home to Texas post-COVID, we settled in Bastrop and decided to bring that passion to our own backyard. We absolutely love this charming town and the fantastic people who make it so special.

Horizons Coffee Bar is our way of bringing joy to every cup—serving espresso, drip coffee, teas, and fruit smoothies, all crafted with care and sourced from quality beans around the world
